About CSEET

CSEET stands for Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test, which is an entrance exam conducted by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) for admission to the Executive Programme of Company Secretaryship course.

CSEET Inter is the intermediate level of the Company Secretary (CS) course in India, and it can be pursued after passing the CSEET exam. The CSEET Inter course consists of two modules, each comprising four papers
CSEET Inter is a comprehensive course that provides students with a strong foundation in company law, accounting, taxation, and other related areas. Successful completion of the CSEET Inter course is a major milestone towards becoming a Company Secretary in India.

Module I

1. Jurisprudence, Interpretation and General Laws: This paper covers topics such as sources of law, interpretation of statutes, and general laws.

2. Company Law: This paper covers topics such as types of companies, formation, and incorporation of companies.

3. Setting up of Business Entities and Closure: This paper covers topics such as setting up of different business entities, corporate restructuring, and closure of business.

4. Tax Laws: This paper covers topics such as direct and indirect taxes, tax planning, and tax management.

Module II

1. 1. Corporate and Management Accounting: This paper covers topics such as accounting standards, financial statements, and management accounting.

   2. Securities Laws and Capital Markets: This paper covers topics such as securities and exchange board of India (SEBI), capital market instruments, and securities market operations.

   3. Economic, Business, and Commercial Laws: This paper covers topics such as competition law, foreign trade policy, and intellectual property rights.

   4. Financial and Strategic Management: This paper covers topics such as financial management, corporate finance, and strategic management.
